How I Work
The Embodied Identity Method is a guided process for developing personal style through a deeper understanding of how you see yourself and relate to what you wear. Here we build a wardrobe that feels authentic, inhabitable, and reflective of who you are as a person.
Within this work, style is approached as a language. Clothing holds meaning—shaped by experiences of safety, belonging, interests, and identity. This is the foundation we build style upon. By taking time to understand your history, along with the intellectual and emotional reasoning behind your style choices, we build personal style that feels sustainable for you over time.
From this place of clarity, you are guided in identifying your genuine preferences and taste. Incorporating this information, we refine your wardrobe by evaluating your existing pieces—keeping what aligns with your vision and letting go of what no longer supports it. With your lifestyle, needs and preferences in mind, I then provide curated recommendations to thoughtfully expand and strengthen your wardrobe.
Over time, this method refines not only your style, but your ability to understand yourself within it. As confidence in your daily self-expression grows, you begin to recognize what works, why it works, and how to continue evolving your style in a way that remains aligned with who you are.
If you’re curious how this process might relate to your own experience of personal style, you’re welcome to explore a guided questionnaire on personal style, taste, and identity.
