How I Work

The Embodied Identity Method is a guided process for developing personal style through a deeper understanding of how you see yourself and relate to what you wear.

Within this work, style is approached as a language. Clothing holds meaning—shaped by experiences of safety, belonging, visibility, and identity. Much of what we wear is formed through adaptation rather than conscious choice.

As you begin to recognize these patterns, you regain choice—the foundation of personal style.

From this place of clarity, taste begins to take shape. Rather than something fixed or innate, it is developed through awareness. You are guided in identifying your genuine preferences, while learning to distinguish them from aspiration or imitation.

As your understanding deepens, so does your discernment. Choices become clearer, more intentional, and more precise. You learn how to build a wardrobe with cohesion—one that reflects you, rather than relying on trial and error.

Over time, the process refines not only your wardrobe, but your ability to understand it. You come to recognize what works, why it works, and how to continue evolving your style in a way that remains aligned with who you are.

If you’re curious how this process might relate to your own experience of personal style, you’re welcome to explore a guided questionnaire on personal style, taste, and identity.
